(OK, so this time you CAN think of the children!) Does the story really surprise anyone? I suppose what surprises me the most is the fact that no one has really done anything about it. ‘Rehabilitation’ my ass! For all practical purposes, I’m sure most people think ‘juvy’ is just jail for youngsters. (That’s exactly what I thought.) I seriously doubt anyone’s really making any kind of strong effort to help these kids. They just want them in and out as quickly as possible. It’s also sad to see all kinds of reports of not just abuse, but sexual abuse as well. I mean, do they recruit some of these people off of ‘To Catch A Predator?‘
